Pandi was born 6/20/2018. She is a strong 65 lbs Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog. She is intelligent and sweet and is protective of her family. She's an excellent guard dog. She has the drive of a working breed, and she is not difficult to train. She knows her name, 'sit,' 'go to bed,' and 'potty outside.' She loves attention. She likes going for walks on leash but needs work on pulling. She is good at the vets and sits right by me on a leash. If strangers visit my home briefly, she is fine in her crate and does not show aggression. If you want to get her out with visitors, she will need to be introduced slowly and given room to escape if nervous. She can be very gentle with other pets but has a dominant temperament. Pandi is allergic to regular kibble which caused rash, diarrhea, vomiting, irritability, depression, and severe weight loss. She lost a lot of weight and went through many slow and expensive changes in her diet to find something that finally agreed with her. She is now on Hills Science Diet for Sensitive Skin and Stomach, and has made a full recovered and will need to stay on this food. Someone with working breed experience is a must. She should not live with very small children, maybe ages 10 and up at least because she is so big and could knock them down accidentally. She is good in the house and would do well with a big yard to play in.
