About Lily *Courtesy Post*

German Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

When Lily's family disbanded and moved in different directions, movers came to clear out the home and saw Lily had been left behind in the backyard. As neighbors watched, the movers opened the backyard gate and released her into the streets before driving away. Afraid of what would happen to her, the good Samaritans put her back in the yard until they could figure out a plan. After 5 days had passed and fearing what would happen with her alone on the 4 th of July, rescue stepped in. Lily is now in a loving foster home awaiting her forever family. This sweet, energetic, smart and sensitive girl has had her shots and will be spayed before going into her new home. Her vet estimates she is under a year and we think this loyal German Shephard girl might have some Doberman in her. From what we know, she seems to get along well with other young male dogs as she can get excited and play rough. She is extremely intelligent and high energy, so she will need to go into an active home where she will get a lot of attention. She would be okay in a home without another dog, but we would like her to be in a home where her human is home a lot or can take her with them. Lily does have separation anxiety (who can blame her?), so she will need to go into a home where her family has the patience and time to work with her. If you are interested in adopting Lily, please contact Veronica at [email protected] for an adoption application. A $350 adoption fee will help recover Lily's shots, spay and microchip.
