About Silo

Hi I'm Silo! I am a 2 year old, male, American Pitbull Terrier mix. I am such a love bug and can't get enough of people. I am the longest resident at my shelter, and I wasn't doing too swell after months of shelter stress and had actually started chewing my tail off and could not keep any weight on due to spinning in circles non-stop. So the shelter started a program just for me called 'Cross Dawgs' where I could run off all of my energy. We met these super cool track stars who were so excited to run with me! Turns out I am a total couch potato and only ran about 300 feet. I am now in a foster home where I love to chill on the couch and watch movies. I have been through a lot and have survived Heartworm treatment and a tail amputation. I am now the happiest and healthiest I have ever been! I can't wait to meet my forever people. I love to play with other dogs and even play with off leash dogs at the park. I love to share my kong toy too! I am so smart and already know 'sit' 'stay' 'wait' 'drop it' and 'lay down.'
