About Lady Bird

Welcome Lady Bird to CCPAL. Lady Bird, her daughter and the father of her child were found as strays and turned in to CCPAL by a good Samaritan. Lady Bird is a medium sized girl at around 30 pounds. She has a missing tail that was either cut of or maybe she was born without it. She is shy and submissive. She would work great with another dog or as an only. I would think a single family home over an apartment for living would be her pick if she could talk. She is smart and loves affection. She is moderately active and ready to learn and allow you to take the lead. She is about 2.5 years old. She is good with other dogs and very smart. She was catching on quickly when we asked her to sit and she was decent on the leash when we were working with her. She is a submissive girl and in a group of dogs doesn't cause any problems. She has the longer black hair coat so would be perfect in the more northern climates. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with a transporter to get her along the East Coast, Washington, Portland, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Vermont.
