He has been vetted, neutered and tested NEGATIVE for Felv/Fiv. He is great with nice cats and nice kids. We don't know if he has met a dog but with his amazing personality should adjust with time. Arti had a family that abandoned him without food, water or shelter. He made his way to a feral cat feeding station. He was skin and bones and befriended all the 20lb tom cats at the station. A feeding station is where feral-wild cats are TNR'd - trapped neutered released and fed. Cats form colonies like this because irresponsible people abandon them, tossing them out like trash. They roam to find food then a loving caring concerned citizen starts feeding these starving cats forming a feeding station. They get TNR'd to prevent kittens, ear tipped so others know that these cats are fixed. The cats 'work' for us taking care of the mice, roof rats, scorpions and roaches, but they must be fixed. The 'wild' ones will survive because they are smart enough to elude predators and sick people. The 'tame' ones need to be taken in, they aren't smart. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! IT'S A LIFE! After his adjustment period Arti is a sweetheart, a lover of all people with laps! He will be scared at first but then he is very curious, adventurous, entertaining and interested. He is a total cuddler, loves belly rubs, loves to be pet and wants nothing more than to love his people. Once he has adjusted he will go right in with the head butts and just can't get enough. He is a quiet kitty and will creep into the room without you even knowing until he is standing next to you. He will meow a soft mew and then follow you around like a dog. He is a muscular hunk and will lay around lounging with occasion of zooming after nothing. He needs and would love a playful 'brother or sister', somebody with energy to play back but that also hold their own. He is high energy and plays hard but nice. He has been free fed quality hard food (the first ingredient beginning with meat) and gets seafood Friskies pate canned morning and night. He loves to play with interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 'cat dancer' toys. He loves his treats and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. He will expect to share your bed. Below information is for preventative purposes�'�| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It's simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. A quality hard food along with a can of food a day is a must for cats to help manage their fluids.
