About Puppy

We found this dog five months ago in our front yard. It was immediately clear that he was someone's baby, but no one's come forward. He's 8 years old, housebroken, very obedient. We recently treated him for heartworms, had some teeth removed, and had him neutered. (We suspect someone left him in a safe neighborhood when they couldn't afford the vet bill.) He's around toddlers weekly and is great with them. He's fine with our dogs (two King Charles caveliers), but has had issues with others. We're willing to have playdates or to let him sleepover. We don't feel like he's ours, but we want to be connected with his forever family instead of taking him to a rescue. Would be a great companion for someone transitioning through life seasons.
