EXTREMELY URGENT - 48HR NOTICE GIVEN TODAY 10/21. PLEASE SHARE TO GET HERCULES OUT ASAP. #A5095563 Hercules is a majestic 3-year-old, 72 pound brown brindle and white male neutered Pit Bull who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as an owner surrender on July 25th for unknown reason. Hercules was easy to take from his kennel and did well on a leash. He participates in play groups and gets along with large dogs. He hasn't been assessed with small dogs but when I took him by small dogs kennel, he showed friendly interest and no aggression. He freely gave the volunteer kisses in his photo shoot, showed signs of being potty trained and sits on command. Unfortunately, in our area, there are so many precious pits, it's practically a miracle to get one wonderful one, like Hercules, adopted into a good home. I understand if you can't adopt, but please share and spread the word, 'adopt, don't shop,' 'spay/neuter' and tell others to stop over-breeding these beautiful majestic dogs. They deserve so Much more than what most get. There are 33 pits listed online at Baldwin Park, and 238 pits across the seven LA county shelters, who are going to bed tonight alone in a small kennel without a family.
