About Big Sky Bats (Betty)

BIG SKY BATS (Betty)- 12 year-old 15.3hh Standardbred mare- all-around riding or driving- for intermediate rider or driver. Bats (Betty) retired from racing a few years ago and was going to work as a broodmare, but was unable to get in foal. She is a very friendly, sweet and easy going mare with great manners. She loves people and gets along well with all other horses, mares or geldings. Bats naturally frames herself up nicely. Started under saddle in July 2019, she will make a beautiful trail/pleasure riding horse and is also easy to drive. Bats took 5th in her first horse show, a pleasure horse class during the 2019 National Standardbred Show. She has a club foot on the right front, but she is fully sound and even raced with it. Bats currently lives out 24/7 with a shed. Available for $350 to an approved home with contract with a minimum 60 day trial period.
