About Daphne

This sweetheart is in desperate need. Her senior mom passed away suddenly and she has no place to go. Daphne is a 13yrs old French Bulldog. She is house broken,neutered/spayed and appears to be healthy. She is missing one eye and requires eye drops, but she gets along just fine! She is bonded to her pet 'brother' Buddy and must be adopted together. Buddy is a 3 year old dachshund, please look up his profile #19-08-16-00318. Daphne lived in Florida and got out during one of the hurricanes. Her senior mom searched for her for months and 1 year later received a call from a local shelter that found her with the chip. Her mom went and took her home but sadly realized that something happened to her eye during her time away and sadly had to have that eye removed She does needs drops daily for the remaining eye, but she gets around just fine. The foster family caring for them says she is not in any discomfort and both dogs are doing very well. They are wonderful with the children in the home. They are great with other dogs and cats. They are truly best friends; Daphne will look for Buddy when they are apart as Buddy acts as her seeing eye dog. They are both extremely playful and affectionate.
