About Meadow

Meet Meadow! Age: about 2 years. Breed: Beagle. Size: 20lbs. Training: crate & leash trained. She will need a routine to learn housetraining. She has done great in her foster home, but has not been given free roam of the home. Good with other dogs? Yes. Personality: Meadow is very friendly and loving. She does well with kids & other dogs. She is very playful and outgoing! She is very curious and adventurous. Meadow's Ideal Home: Meadow was in a foster home without other dogs and didn't do well. She showed signs of separation anxiety. When in a home with other dogs, she done much better! We don't believe Meadow has ever lived without another dog and we believe she needs a companion in her home. Meadow also needs a fenced in yard. She LOVES being outside and would prefer to spend most of her time there. Reason for rescue: Meadow was found on a dirt road, believed to have been dumped. Another beagle was found on the same road about 2 weeks later :(. She was infested with fleas and had sores all over her body, that have since healed. She also had heartworms that have since been treated. Meadow is now spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. She is now heartworm negative!
