Rescued by Pawsitive Tails To Remember from IVHS on 6/28/19 Be still my heart! Meet Max! After almost a year with his foster, we need someone to take a chance on our little Maxie! This little guy is 6 yrs old, 8 lbs, neutered, chipped and up to date on shots! Max is an independent fellow who is not really a snuggle bunny but he will love you to the moon and back despite his need to be the leader of the pack. Max rules the food bowl meaning he won't share while he is eating and he has somehow managed to garner the respect of the other dogs in the home! Anyone willing to open their homes and hearts to this little guy? Max will melt your heart with his very little dog/big dog and playful personality (considering his size) and he would do best in a home with other small dog(s)! Max prefers his own bed and does not like to share! * 6 yrs old; 8 lbs and is a short haired Chihuahua (mix) * Very independent * Dog and cat friendly * Would do best in an all adult home or with children 13 and older * Healthy and fully vetted; altered and current on vaccines * Leash trained and loves to walk * Doggie door potty trained * Does not like to share his doggie bed with anyone! * Rescued 6/28/19 after sitting in the shelter with a fractured pelvis for 3 mos! * Max who underwent FHO (Femoral Head) surgery right after his rescue is completely healed and has no lasting effects at all from the injury.
