About Perdita

Meet Perdita! She is believed to be a one-year-old Corgi Jack Russell mix. She is about 17 lb. She is great with cats and dogs of all sizes. Perdita is crate and house trained. A home with other playful dogs would be best. I believe she would do fine with older children as well. A physical fence is a must. Perdita arrived to us with a prolapsed uterus. Since then she has had surgery to correct her prolapse. Perdita has also been spayed however, only the right side of her reproductive organs were found so she will need exploratory surgery to find her reproductive organs on the left side. Which is scheduled next week. Perdida internal anatomy is not normal and most likely since she was part of a hoarding case, it is believed they all bred amongst one another and reproduced. However, besides that she is very healthy. Perdita is one of five dogs that was pulled by another rescue from Texas. They all came from a cruelty confiscation hoarding case and were considered feral reactive. Perdita and the others have been at the sanctuary 3 plus month and are coming along perfect. Perdita enjoys playing with other dogs, she's definitely the most confident one of the group. She loves all people. She enjoys her daily walks but mostly she enjoys spending time with her people.
