About Amelia

Hi, my name is Amelia and I am about 15 months old. I was born on April 13, 2018 along with 2 sisters and 2 brothers. One of my sisters died as a kitten and all of my other siblings found forever homes. I thought I would too but when I was little I was diagnosed as having FIV inherited from my mother. People don't know too much about FIV and are afraid of it so it makes them look away from me which is so sad because having FIV doesn't mean much. I can live with other non-FIV cats, I can have a normal life, I can enjoy things just like any other cat would. I wish people would take the time to read more about it and understand that it doesn't make me too much different... But today is a new day. I am ready to find a family to love me and spoil me. Because I'm a little shy I also hope my future family will be a little patient in letting me emerge from my shell. While I'm ok with other pets I'd rather have a quieter home where there is another older and calmer cat at most or preferably none. I don't mind dogs too much either but ideally there would no dogs as sometimes they frighten me a little bit. I guess you can say I'm a little selfish as I would truly prefer to have you all to myself to love on. I hope that you will be that person to give me a chance. I truly would love to find my happily ever after. Please consider giving me a loving, forever home.
