About Cate

Adoption Fee: $250.00
Lab mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Cate is a middle-aged, 55 lb yellow lab mix who is up-to-date on shots, preventative, spayed and has recently completed heartworm treatment. Cate loves playing with her dog toys and collecting them on her bed. She can be shy at first, and can be unsure around rowdy people, but is just a loving girl who would like a nice home to call her own. We are pretty sure that Cate spent most of her life on a chain prior to coming in as a stray to the shelter, but she has learned the house rules very fast. She is crate and house trained and gets along well with the cats and other dogs in the house. The silly cats don't mind dogs who like to play, and now Cate is %BD%A0great friends and plays throughout the day with her new feline friends. Cate walks well on leash, likes to play fetch, and is quickly learning commands such as 'sit' and 'down.' She is also very well behaved around children. Cate would do best in a home with a lower visitor level. We believe that her prior life has made her unsure of new people and defensive of her space and family, and she does bark at visitors. However, she likes being in public and visiting others houses. Cate would love finding her fur-ever home! She has so much love to give- and would love someone who promises plenty of chin rubs into the future. %BD%A0 Cate is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
