About Tomoko

Meet Tomoko, Japanese for Friendly child. He comes to us from a family that has had some life changes, and needs to find him a new home. He is about a 1.5 years old, and weighs about 50 pounds and is full grown at this point. He is crate trained and house trained. We are looking for a kind and patient family that will allow him the time he will need to settle into your life. It must be a home without kids and without cats. Once he settles in, he will be a happy, friendly dog. He goes to the dog park and doggy day care, and does well, but can have some reactivity on his leash. He has alot of trained behaviors, and a great foundation for you to build upon. He is super smart, and very attentive. If you are interested in meeting him, let us know!!! We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. We are never sure about breed because we do not do DNA (we make our best guess), so if that is important to you, this dog may not be the right choice for you. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a dog. As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You may need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative.You will receive a free bag of premium puppy food, as well as a gift card from Choice Pet Market if you live in one of the designated zip codes . Training is MANDATORY and will be scheduled at a later date and place.
