About URGENT - NENE

Once in a lifetime dog here! Volunteers LOVE Nene! A5195554 Nene is a soulful 4-year-old white and toffee neutered male Pit Bull who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray on July 14th. Weighing 75 lbs, Nene is the gentlest giant. A volunteer describes him as 'a dog you'll remember for the rest of your life; a once in a lifetime dog for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.' Nene walks well on leash and is responsive to correction. This smart boy already knows 'sit,' and would love to work on his training. Despite his size and athletic build, he has the heart and soul of a couch potato; he would enjoy long walks followed by equally long cuddle sessions. He bonds deeply with people and gives tons of kisses, but would prefer to keep his distance from other dogs; as a result, we think he would do best as an only dog. All Nene wants in life is a family and couch to call his own.
