About Maximo

I'm so sad to have to write this message. I have an 8 year old shih tzu named Maximo. Unfortunately I am no longer able to give him the life he deserves. I have a new baby (first time mom). I'm not able to give Maximo the same time and attention I used to. I no longer have the time to take him out for long walks and on outings. Maximo is very good with children, he is very social, and loves to meet people. He also loves sitting on your lap and falling asleep. Around 2015, Maximo developed an infection in his right eye. At the time I was barely making ends meet, but I was able to finance the surgery needed to remove his eye. He has not had any issues since and has completely adapted to having 1 eye. At this time, I'm not working as I am home with my baby. I cannot afford the regular grooming appointments for Maximo and even routine yearly vet check-ups. However, he is current on his rabies vaccine and hasn't shown signs of any medical issues. It breaks my heart to have to write this message as I truly love Maximo. But it's not fair to him that I can't provide all he needs. Are you able to help me find a GOOD, LOVING home for Maximo? Please email me- [email protected]
