About Izzie

Izzie is a playful energetic 9-year-old border collie who is a good walking companion and loves all things water. She would be the perfect for any active individual, couple, or family with older children. Izzie is a very loving dog and this process, of giving her up, is difficult, but we really need to give her a better home that she deserves. We have two young special needs children and an infant who also has medical needs, and we can't give her the attention she deserves, and we desperately need someone who can. Quick facts about her 1) She has alpha border collie instincts, is very healthy, and still has the energy of young dog. Izzie will do best in a single dog home; however, she does get along with other dogs depending on their nature. 2) She loves swimming, small kiddie pools, sprinklers, squirt guns. 3) Loves tennis balls, dog toys, and can catch/at least go after a frisbee (needs a little work bringing it back). 4) Knows basic commands and can do agility training. 5) No medical conditions 6) She prefers the kennel to sleep in 7) Loves outside but is afraid of noises like thunder/fireworks (she prefers her kennel when that happens 8) If you do not know anything about border collies please look them up! They are high energy, requires stimulation, and demand your attention. 9) If for some reason you do not want her you MUST bring her back to us so we can continue to find a her a good home!
