About William

WHY IS HE STILL WITHOUT A HOME??! Sweet William is a very gentle, somewhat submissive boy that can be a bit timid when first meeting new people. After just a couple of minutes with gentleness and a few treats, he is very affectionate and attentive. He can be a bit more insecure when first meeting men so extra gentleness for the first few minutes is a must. William loves other dogs and learns confidence from watching them so he must have a medium to large, friendly and playful, balanced dog in the home. William is a quiet boy, just giving a howl here and there. He can get a bit nervous when exposed to a lot of outside activity, but he's coming along quickly in learning this big 'ole world is a great place to explore. As long as he has his doggy pal with him, he is doing great on long walks. He is fully crate trained and loves his crate so he must have a home that's ok with crating. William is just a little over 6yrs old and weighs about 60lbs. He must have a 6ft securely fenced backyard and he can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of hours. Becasue he is a timid boy, kids must be over 14yrs old.
