About Tucker

Tucker is a 7 month old male Schnauzer/Yorkie mix breed dog. He is a big boy at 26 pounds and still growing. He needs a lot of exercise/playtime as he has unending energy. He currently lives in a home with a pre-teen and a teenager; he would not do well with children under the age of 10 as he is still interested in 'rough' play. He is crate trained and is 85% potty trained as long as he is kept on a schedule and watched. He does not, however, bark to let you know that he has to go 'potty.' He is currently on Interceptor for heartworm prevention and just saw the vet about two months ago. He would make a great companion for someone who is aware of the Schnauzer breed and who is patient and firm with training. He has become food aggressive when another dog is in the house. He would not do well with smaller, fragile dogs but would love to be a part of a pack of medium to larger dogs.
