Lola is a big talker and would make someone a wonderful companion but you would have to have a little patience bc she hasn't been handled since Hurricane Irma when I lost all my large flights. Her previous owner left her locked in a cage in a garage. They loves their fruits, nuts and veggies but their staple diet is a mix of Hagen Tropican High & Maintenance Pellets. Both are full flighted, Lola talks constantly and both take food from your hand and will warm up to you w time and patience. She loves to hang outside of her cage when she was inside now shes in outdoors in her flight to get lots of fresh air and sunshine. Both were previous pets, they will do best in an adult nonsmoking home without alot of running kids. Both are adult birds and remember that Amazons can live to be 65+ with proper care and nutrition! NO CAGES ARE INCLUDED! All birds are used to living outside in SWFL tropical weather all their lives so please take that into consideration when looking to adopt. Cold weather states would be an big shock to their system and extreme caution would have to be taken. All birds will remain here at my Rescue in SWFL until I can find the right lifetime home for them. Due to the circumstances here at my home and Sanctuary after Hurricane Irma I am having to find homes for all birds. If you are out of the area or state and are willing to pu or pay for all shipping costs on Delta @$260 + carrier, bottle, bowl $155, I will consider an Adoption to the right home w home chk. My home and property will be under construction for at least 8 mos to a year due to extent of total damage. All birds have been surgically sexed and I do have blood on each bird that can be sent in for disease testing if you choose to do that thru Avian Biotech. Animals choose their owners NOT the other way around. Please do NOT choose to bring an Animal into your home based on looks or color! They each have individual personalities, quirks, likes and dislikes just like humans do!! PLEASE make sure to include PROPER contact info. Explain what your experience is WHY you would make a good lifetime home and why you are interested in adopting a parrot.
