About MILO

Adoption Fee: $250.00
Beagle / Lab
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

This Adorable little boy is MILO he is a Beagle Mix not really sure about his mixed breed Milo is just 8 months old , He is around 37lbs and probably wont go over 45 -50lbs he is just a little gem not a mean bone in his body he is super loving playful and friendly, He has a beautiful coloring soulful eyes and a beautiful shiny chocolate coat and pearly white teeth. Milo is enjoying life at our base with several other dogs. He loves to play with the females and will join in hunting for lizards with some of our Weimaraners. Milo came to us just over a month ago We are a breed Specific Weimaraner rescue but we took Milo who was dumped in a Alabama shelter along with a Weimaraner We couldn't leave this little boy behind so we took Milo as well. Milo is a favorite here and a joy to have in rescue.. Milo has settled in well he loves the freedom s to run and play in our big yard. Unlike most of our Weimaraners that dislike the rain Milo isn't phased by it at all he will run in and out no matter what the weather is like. It is now time for us to find this little gem his forever home and it will a lucky family that adopts this boy. So what are we looking for in Milo's new home, We are looking for a family that has time to spend with him someone that is home most of day Milo has been abandoned so he does like his humans to be around, He is not a needy boy but does not want to be left alone for long hours. He most definitely needs a fenced in yard for him to run and play NO EXCEPTIONS. No apartments Condos or rental properties He would love a sister around his own age or a little older but someone who is playful and can keep him busy, Milo is good in the car we took him to the Ocala doggy ranch pool a couple of weeks ago and he did swim in the pool a little cautious at first but he did swim and he enjoyed it. He is not too good on commands but he does get it if he is in trouble He is still a baby and learning but he is smart and certainly understands no and naughty boy. He will then look at you with those big soulful eyes for a few minutes then he will be back to his happy self. We have never had an accident in the house with him. The other dogs just seem to have trained him we have never crated Milo he enjoys his freedom so we would prefer a family that dosent crate. Milo does have a hunting nose so I am not sure he should placed with cats, He will chase the squirrels and anything fast that moves. Milo loves to snuggle with you on the sofa and have belly rubs so if you don't like a dog on your furniture Milo is not for you, There is no doubt my mind this boy will really excel in the right forever home. We are not looking for family that wants a dog specifically for their child we are looking for a family that are all fully on board to make Milo a family member that he can share activities. If you have fully read Milo`s short bio and would like to be considered to be his new family The link to our adoption request form is at the foot of this page Any avid doggy owner would be proud to have Milo join their family, Out of state adoptions are welcome but you must be prepared to travel to Florida to interact with Milo before traveling home with him We do not ship or transport any of our dogs it is far too stressful for them No Exceptions. Thank you for reading Milo's bio The link to our adoption request form is here http://www.lifelinedogrescue.org/services/adopt/adoption-form
