About Jefferson

Jefferson is a loyal, loving dog with high energy. He was started on Rally, Obedience and beginning agility and loved it! He is a very quick learner and would excel at Agility. He needs a job to do. He is definitely an Alpha and needs a firm handler and would do best (in our opinion) as an 'only child'. He gets along with our other dog most of the time, but he has such a strong herding instinct, he gets over excited when the cattle are moving and if he can't get to the cattle, he often runs across the yard and nips our GSD on her back legs. This is why we feel he'd be better as the only dog in the home. He loves to be with his people and will be at your side. He knows basic commands and wants to learn and please you. It is very important to us that he goes to a good home where he will be loved and hopefully get to do agility. When we send him over a jump, he flies over it and then turns and looks at you with a smile on his face.
