About Lulu

*** ADOPTION PENDING *** Lovely Lulu is a happy and lively 10-month old, 36-pound Greyhound/Labrador mix (or Whipador!) ready to make you her new best friend! This incredibly affectionate girl is full of joy and is a huge fan of all toys. She likes to carry a toy or bone around in her mouth and will deliver it to you with great pride. Lulu has a sleek short black coat, perky ears and cute white freckled markings on her nose and chest. In typical whippet fashion, she has long slender legs and can run like the wind, but is also happy snuggling. She is loving and enthusiastic with kids and adults and is playful and friendly with other dogs. Lulu is very food motivated and eager to learn! If you're looking for a bright, friendly, and demonstrative pup, Lulu is the gal for you! AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy, and our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care, so please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested prior to submitting. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health and safety of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering, and microchipping before transporting our dogs. Then, we provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you.
