About Abby

Ms. Abby, the Golden Retriever, is now ready for a forever home. She is 12 years old and is really low energy. She just wants to have a backyard to lounge in and a soft place to sleep for her naps and bed time. She is not one of those dogs who wants to go for long walks - even short walks and you may end up having to carry her home. She is housebroken and gets along great with the other dogs she is in foster with. She does great with the grandchildren of her foster mom. We had her spayed in August and she is all recovered from that surgery. She is not an attention hound but we would love to see her in a home where she can get 100% of the attention for the remainder of her years. She is in good health according to the vet. She isn't on any medication and gets along fine when she wants to. We are looking for a home where someone will give her lots of love for her final years. She is a sweetheart and she is fine in foster where she is so there is no hurry to find her a home. Her adoption fee will be $100.00 to help cover some of her medical expenses. If you fill out an application on our website at www.patriotsforpets.com and it is approved we will set up a time to have the foster home bring her in. She is not at the shelter.
