About Phil

Adoption Fee: $300
Doberman Pinscher
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Phil was surrendered to a high-kill, over-full shelter in West Texas with no information about him except his name. When his time was up, a staff worker begged for someone to save him by fostering, and he was moved to a foster's outside kennel, where he has been for almost three months. Fortunately, his caretaker is very experienced with Dobermans and she says that Phil is a quality dog. Phil is not only a quality dog, but is super sweet and a typical velcro Doberman. He is guessed to be 3 years old - a gorgeous red boy with a docked tail and cropped ears that do not stand. Phil loves people and children and has done well with other dogs, although before his neuter he was a bit excitable. He recently got to spend the day in a home and was well-behaved with no accidents, so we believe he may be house trained. He rides well in a car, although he is not fond of crates and prefers to ride as a passenger in the back seat. Phil is smart and obedient and ready to be in a home with people that he loves.
