About Finn

Beautiful black & white male Husky with blue eyes! I've recently been rescued from the high kill shelter SEAACA in Downey CA, impound #20-00313, Male, 57lbs, called 'Finnagen' on facebook. I'm approximately 4 years old, real name is unknown, so you can name me whatever you want, but for now call me Finn! I came into the shelter as a pair, bonded to another husky male, but we got separated there. I got adopted while there but they never picked me up. The shelter later changed my status to rescue only/waiver only (not public adoptable) for 'growling' during my vet exam. I was about to be euthanized. Luckily my rescuer understands my vocal Husky sounds, I'm not that threatening, I'm a fun talkative Husky and so glad I was saved. Straight outta the shelter, my first impressions of Finn are despite being approximately 4 years old...he's a fast moving energetic type of Husky, yet he actually walks pretty good on a leash, it seems he's had some leash training. He's not needy for contact & affection, but he's happy to be near you and apart of what your doing. He's super handsome & adorable! He seemed good with people, kids and other dogs while we were out doing his freedom walk. I didn't observe any food or water aggressive while feeding him, and he did really good playing with a female husky I introduced him to. He's received all his vaccines, is micro chipped, & just neutered. He's ready for a loving home, He's currently in boarding, help get him out of his boarding environment by fostering Finn or adopting him!
