About Petey

PLEASE READ PETEY'S BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INDQUIRING - thank you This is our little Petey! Isn't he the cutest? Petey came to us an owner surrender who could no longer take care of him. This little guy is a male Chihuahua that is approximately 4 months old and maybe 4-5 lbs. Petey is still too young to be adopted out but we are taking applications for him and have very specific requirements for his forever home. This little guy MUST go into a home where the adopters have had 'tiny dog' experience. Please DO NOT inquire unless you have raised/owned a tiny dog breed. Petey MUST go into a home that has another young (no adults or senior) dog in the home. He CANNOT be an only dog so please do not ask. He is very young and very tiny so he cannot go into a home with young children. If there are children in the home, they must be 15 years old or older and must show us they can handle and hold a tiny puppy correctly. His forever home MUST have owners that are not gone long hours during the day. We do not want him crated at all while his owners are gone for hours. An open crate is ok for sleeping and during the day. He cannot go into a home with an uncovered pool. This could be a potential danger for him. We also want Petey in a home with a fully enclosed and safe yard that he can run around in. Petey is very special to us and we will be looking for an equally special forever home for him. Petey is just pure perfection! Petey is starting his series of puppy shots and will be neutered when he is ready. WE ONLY ADOPT OUT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AS A HOME CHECK AND 1-2 WEEK TRIAL PERIOD ARE REQUIRED.
