About Jada

Jada she is an 8 year old Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is a fantastic dog and is super sweet towards her people. She can be shy at first especially with men. She prefers women but will warm up to a man as well if given a little time to get comfortable. She is the perfect dog in the home. She does not need to be crated and is completely trust worthy inside. She has never taken anything off the counter, gotten in the trash or chewed anything she was not supposed to. She loves stuffed toys and balls and will throw her toys around and pounce on them like a puppy. She also loves to play parachute with a blanket and will play with the blanket while you try to spread it out but never on blankets that are just laying around or on your bed. Jada knows all her basic commands and walks well on a leash as long as she does not see a squirrel or a rabbit! She is housebroken and will be up to date on vaccines. She loves to snuggle with her people and lay her head on your lap for pets and love. She also dreams often and barks/ whines in her sleep, it is extremely cute. Jada was recently diagnosed with mild hip displasia in her right hip which is being managed well with pain meds as needed and dasaquin joint chews. She loves to go for walks but needs walks that are not extremely difficult. Flat ground like parks are best. Jada gets along well with some dogs but is extremely picky on her friends so she is not a good candidate for dog parks, etc. She does not do well with anything small like cats or small dogs ever! She also does not like kids. She is possessive inside the home towards other animals with everything including her personal space. That being said she must go to a home with no other animals or kids. She has NEVER shown any aggression towards adults ever! The only reason we are looking for another home for her is because we have other animals in the home and feel an animal free home would be best for her and she would be happier there.
