About Patrick

PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!My brother has several health issues and is unable to manage caring for Patrick any longer and will be relocating out of state in October. Patrick is an active, five year old, pure bred American Bulldog (we have the AKC registration paperwork,but never completed it), intact male, whom my brother has had since he was about a year old. (My sister had acquired him at three months old from the breeder/owners of his mother and father.) Unfortunately, my sister had to move and was unable to have Patrick where she was residing, so my brother has been his sole caregiver and companion ever since.) Patrick has some behavioral issues, such as being aggressive, or 'territorial' at times, if there are sudden movements or 'roughhousing' around him (we don't know why; it's just been his temperament). Patrick has grown up with only one other dog, my brother's other dog, a lab mix, who is docile and they get along decently. He has never been around children either or other animals so we do not know how he would react in those situations.
