About Gizmo and Mr. Lucky

Lhasa Apso / Maltese
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Meet Gizmo and Mr. Lucky- 12 and 9 respectively. Mr. Lucky is a Maltese mix; Gizmo is a Lhaso Pom mix. I will give a brief background- and for those who may be interested- I can go into more detail when I respond to your inquiry. But in short- this duo have lived together for 8 years. Owner passed away a year and half ago; family really didn't care for them as their mom did. They were going to be 'dumped at a shelter'. I knew their mom well- and could not let this happen, so I had them brought up from Southern California to Southern Oregon. Now in foster together, microchipped, updated on shots and vaccines and much needed grooming they are ready for a new family- together. Although they are seniors- they sure don't act like it. Both act like maybe 5 or six years old. Gizmo looks like he is 12 pounds; but this boy is compact muscle boy. When you go to pick him up- omg- he weights 16 pounds. Mr. Lucky is small framed weighing 12 pounds. They are very much bonded. Mr. Lucky is sweet. Gizmo is sweet- but comes off snarky! Like a grumpy old man. lol. But not a mean bone in their bodies. They get along well with other dogs and are used to a doggy door. Lucky got his name- when- on a busy freeway- he was seen being tossed out of the car! His luck started when someone pulled over and rescued him. Please tell me about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city in which you live, other pets in your home and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you - the better. What can this companion expect from you and what are your expectations. If you do not provide this information, do not expect a reply. This is not a first come placement. There is a placement fee to offset care and medical. Please allow a few days- as I review inquiries. Tell me why you should be on the top of the list of potential families. Sell yourself. Some folks do not take the time to tell me why they should be the chosen ones,- giving 2 sentences like, 'we are a family of 4 with a cat and a fenced yard'- too little; others give a 40 year history of every animal they have ever had'- too much-. And then their are those who put me in their home- sharing what the pooch (s) can expect.
