My name is Rya and I am a cuddle bug!!! A Good Samaritan picked me up and took me the shelter... but as we all know, for most dogs (especially Pitties) that's a death sentence. For me it was no different. I was put on the euthanasia list and the shelter begged for someone to save me. They extended my life a couple of times, my time was up ���� and when there didn't seem to be any hope....Three Little Pitties tagged me and my foster mom stepped up to take me!!!! �%9D%A4��%8FShe says my life matters and I am worth it�%9D%A4��%8F I weighed 42 pounds when I came to the her home and now I am a healthy 63!���� I am looking for a family that wants a companion dog. I love to lounge around, lay with you on the couch, get excited when it's food time, I love to go in the car for a ride and come back home���� I am looking to be an only dog since it takes me some time to acclimate to new dogs. I was never properly socialized. I do well with dogs around me as long as they aren't trying to run at me and I am given space. With time I warm up, like I did with my foster fursister (now we are BFF's) In the streets when a dog ran at me it was not good thing. I'm still learning that life is different in a home and dogs are my friends! I am very well behaved, I am house trained, crate trained, and love children.
