About Bella

Hi everybody, I'm Bella! All my human friends tell me I am adorable and just the sweetest, wiggliest low-rider ever. It's really nice to have great friends that say such nice things about me because I didn't always have that in my life. See back when I was a puppy, when I had a family of my own, the adult humans couldn't stay together, so one of them ended up selling me to a breeder. Over the next 6 years I was sold to 3 different breeders who forced me to have lots and lots of puppies. I didn't know it at the time but my original human mom was tracking my whereabouts and working to trying to buy my freedom. She was finally able, with the help of volunteers, to raise enough money to buy me back from the breeder and get me transported back to southern California. Thank goodness the nice folks that helped rescue me took me to the vet to have me spayed so I will never have to worry about being forced to breed again. Now I live with a really nice family they call my 'fosters'. My fosters helped me learn some manners. I am housetrained, and crate-trained. I enjoy car rides and I do pretty well on a leash. I get along well with humans of all sizes but I really like to hang out with the little ones that like to play tug of war with me (I always let them win)! But my most favorite thing to do is hang out and snuggle with my humans. Sometimes I even fake snore when I'm not ready to get up so my humans will let me cuddle a little longer. I'm not exactly sure what a couch potato is, but they tell me I'm a pretty good one. My foster family has been SOOOO good to me but I'd really love to find a forever family of my very own.
