About Dutchess

Meet Dutchess! Dutchess came to the Animal Care League as a transfer from a local shelter where she was confiscated as a cruelty case. Once we heard Dutchess's story and met her this sweet girl, we knew we had to help her find her forever home. Dutchess is understandably scared when she initially meets people, especially men - But once this sweet girl meets you properly she is just all snuggles and fun. Dutchess has spent time in foster which confirmed that she loves other dogs and they really help her lose all of her worries and just be a carefree dog. We believe Dutchess would do best in an Adult Only home, having another dog is a plus, that can really see her through her worries and help her feel safe and loved.
