About Duke

Age: 7 years-old Dog Sociability: No other dogs at this time, but my foster dad and I are working on it! Cat Sociability: No cats, please! Kid compatibility: Adults-only Ideal living Situation: Dog-savvy home with a yard is preferred, but not a deal-breaker! Duke is a super-handsome, smart and funny dog who's looking for a loving forever home. Duke was fearful when he arrived here, but after our staff and volunteers worked with him, his confidence began to grow and now he's a different dog! Duke can be shy at first, but if given a minute, you'll find that he's an incredibly affectionate and loyal dog! Duke has been adopted in the past and just hasn't quite found his forever family yet. He has successfully lived with both men and women while in foster care and currently lives in a high-rise elevator building in Chicago with his Foster Dad. His foster dad says Duke is a perfect houseguest who is potty trained and not destructive. Duke would do best in a home with people who are willing to accept some quirks and work through them alongside him!
