Misha is a great cat - he can be kind, snuggly and loving. However, he takes a bit to get used to you. He loves my husband and myself, and my father-in-law, but warms up slower to others. He loves our other male cat and is submissive to him, but he is really aggressive toward our new babe, and that is why we have to re-home him. He's also marking only items that belong to the babe. He requires a special diet, due to him being part Maine Coon the Vet told us. He requires wet, canned food. He does not drink liquids except under extreme circumstances, and that is why he requires wet food. Before we knew this, he had to have two extensive procedures to restore his intestinal tract. Therefore, if you are going to love on Misha, you have to be able to provide him wet food, or he will suffer and have a shortened life. Apparently, the Vet told us that wild animals get a lot of their liquids from their kills, and since he does not kill wild animals, he needs it provided to him. He is 100% an indoor cat.
