About Shu shu

Adoption Fee: $50
Shih Tzu
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Shu shu was a smaller dog from day one. She was fine until her previous openers let her get pregnant at 6 months old. She had to have emergency surgery to remove the puppies and was spayed at this time. At about 5 she started having urinary incontinence and was using the restroom in the home and only on soft items. She was neglected by previous owner and they deemed it due to the dog being at home alone for hours while everyone else worked and their own laziness for her urinary issues. Then at the same age they noticed blood in her urging and after researching found bladder stones all the time in her ruined. They would treat them at home occasionally but didn't have money for the vet care she needed. This past year I took her in but having a two year old and a teenager, I don't have the money or time that she deserves. She loves my oldest and isn't allowed around my crazy two year old because she's older and the baby is loud and scary to her. She is a wonderful loving dog and LOVES CAR RIDES! She loves playing and fetching her toys that we call 'babies'. This summer we had her taken to the vet and found her bladder was so full of stones and she had infections that she could have died. She made it through but now she has what I believe to be an ear infection and is not well. I can not afford vet care or give her the attention she wants and needs. She wants to play and be loved on and we aren't home enough to care for her. Her bladder problems seem To have resonlved the potty issues in the house but occasionally if she isn't let out often, she has an accident. She loves to be given attention and most of the day she just sleeps and lays with you. She is dying for a good home and I want to give her the life she deserves. I've battled with myself over doing this for a while but I have to be loving enough to let her go with someone who will care for her like she deserves. She's so good and sweet and listens and is quiet and just a happy baby. But I know, and as heartbreaking as this is, she needs. Forever home She is not good with anyone getting in her face and is very skeptical of other dogs and people in the beginning but she warms up to you fairly quickly. She sleeps most of the day and does love to play but gets tired on walks lol please help!!!!
