That look you have when you just realized you've been given the best care and a new look on life! Does anyone recognize me? According to a local business I was seen being put out of a van on Kenny Biggs Rd in Lumberton. I was in serious need of medical attention at the time and very fortunate to be picked up by a passerby that brought me to RCHS. I was whisked to the vet with shock from heat stroke and the infection on my back. I was sedated so I could be groomed and to have my wound cleaned and dressed. Unfortunately I'm also heart-worm positive. I think I'm a Shih-Tzu and maybe Poodle mix about 2 years old, weigh approx. 8 pounds, neutered and micro-chipped. I'm sweet but still timid and did try to nip the vet tech (most likely because I was still stressed and had lots of pain and discomfort), I'm not good with other dogs and cats and most likely not kids. I've been through alot so I would be best in a home as an only child with a patient family willing to help nurture and socialize me further. House-training is still needed as I was just neutered weeks ago and I'm still lifting my leg to mark. I would make anyone a great loyal and faithful companion.
