About 7 years ago my boyfriend rescued a rat terrier from a busy road - the story is all too familiar and I won't bore you with details. However, after getting her back into good health, we adopted her out to what we thought would be a safe, secure and healthy environment. As it turns out Dahlia (the doggo) has spent the last five years living on the road and on the run with a mentally ill individual. She has suffered beatings and various other mistreatments, not to mention being stuck in a truck - hot, cold, unexercised, and fed an extremely unhealthy diet. Upon discovering her situation I am now in possession of her and will be taking care of her until we can find suitable pet parent(s) for her. Despite her trials she is still the spunky little girl we rescued off the road, and with time I believe she will settle into someone's daily routine and home life - and love it. She really deserves that. So, if anyone is interested in helping out a cute little rat terrier who is loyal and sweet, message me. Any adoption fee requested will in entirety go to help rescue another dog in need.
