About URGENT - DODGER

PLEASE SHARE TO SAVE DODGER. #A5282381 Dodger is a charming 5-year-old grey-and-white neutered male Pit Bull mix (who may have a splash of German Shepherd, Hound, or other fun breeds in his background) who was surrendered to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on May 22nd for no known reason. Weighing 65 lbs, Dodger is a peppy and social boy who likes to be out of his kennel with volunteers, exploring and hanging out. He seems to already have some training as he knows how to sit on command and appears to be housebroken. At least in the shelter, he tugs a bit on leash, but he may be less excited in a different environment, or his adopter can easily do some leash brush-up work with him. He's cooperative and eager to please, he will be a good student. Dodger warms up to new people quickly and is quite the cuddle bug: we think his perfect day would include a nice walk or hike and plenty of pets. Dodger has been happy to meet female dogs in the shelter's playgroups but he can be dominant with large males like him, so we are recommending him for a household where he is a solo dog or with a well-matched female dog. With his adorably quirky ears and his expressive face, Dodger is quite the looker, too. Dodger will be a gem of a companion in a loving home where he is a beloved indoor member of the family.
