Meet the new girl! This is Chama and we are already smitten. Chama was surrendered to our local animal control after her behavior changed and she was no longer getting along with everyone in her home. We were asked to help and of course we couldn't resist her charms. When we met Chama we quickly realized she had terrible ear infections- we are talking super stinky with pus oozing from both ears. Pain like that can easily cause a dogs behavior to change so we are going slow and getting to know this big girl. So far we have nothing bad to say! Everyone who meets her falls under her spell. She went for a trip to the vet to get her ears taken care of, she loved the staff at East Hill Veterinary Clinic and thinks she is a 130 pound lap dog. Dr Kessler said she drained what looked like sewage from her ears! Gross!! Chama is on meds to help her ear infection clear up and she is feeling much better already. Chama is 4 years old and we are working hard to get her all ready for adoption. She spent the last 3 years living outside and we want to get her back to princess status, who doesn't mind the large amount of love and drool she is ready to share with your home?! Chama is depressed in a kennel, help us find her a home! You can submit an application for Chama at mendohumanesociety.com
