About Ari

Ari did not get the best start in life, but is learning that it feels good to be loved, and that snuggling on the couch is fun. Ari came all the way from Texas to find his forever home! He is a bit timid and skittish, but will jump up on the couch to be petted and to give kisses. Ari loves any kind of food, and will sometimes eat two bowls. He is a very sweet boy and is happy to see you when you come home. He is right at the door to greet you. Ari lives with seven other dogs in his foster home and gets along great with all of them. He even cuddles with one of them and eats out of the same bowl with her. Ari uses pee pads, but still marks in the house. He is still working on potty training. His foster mom thinks he had never seen a leash, so he didn't understand what it was at first. He's gotten lots of practice and has made good progress. Ari likes to snuggle. He will lay by his foster mom's shoulder, or under the blanket by her legs. He has to be touching her. He is a very loving dog and loves praise and affection. Ari was heartworm positive, but has had his first and second rounds of meds. He did very well and has now been neutered. Ari is a very happy dog and listens to commands. He is up to date on his shots and flea prevention.
