About Turbo

Adoption Fee: $50
Pit Bull
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

We adopted Turbo from the shelter when he was about 11/12 mo old. Started taking him hiking and to the dog park to socialize him with other dogs. About a year into doing this he was attacked at the dog park by an older male pit bull. After this his fear of other dogs has increased. He lives with a female 12 year old lab and 16 year old miniature pinscher since he was brought home. He has NEVER attacked either one of them. The dog trainer has stated that he could possibly be trained and this behavior lessened. HE loves To hike, run, chase his frisbee, ball, rope or even a stick. He brings it back to you and drops ready to go! Knows sit, heel, and even kennel. He is crate trained and sleeps In it at night. Does well at night if want him to sleep with you. We feel he needs someone that maybe works from home, not with other dogs unless that dog maybe introduced to him slowly. Maybe someone with a large yard or ranch so he can run. He's not hyper just loves to play. He wants to play with dogs but needs to be trained to behave correctly. Our other dilemma is we purchased a RV right after adopting him. Almost all parks don't allow vicious breeds and they consider pit bulls one of them. So we aren't able to take him with us. He's always attentive and wants to please you as this is his behavior. He needs a person to spend one on one time with him and I think he would make a better dog. He's very loving and cuddles with humans and even his two old dog sisters. We want to find him the perfect fitting home.
