About Kenny

Meet Kenny! This super sweet, loving, adorable 10 pound nugget 'Chug' (Chihuahua/Pug mix) is waiting for his fur-ever home. Kenny is 2 years old and came in as a stray but sadly, no one came for him. Kenny is a little shy at first but warms quickly. He loves to snuggle and be near his human as much as possible. Kenny will need another canine companion in his forever home. He does very well with other small dogs and is okay with big dogs as long as they aren't too rambunctious. Kenny is housebroken, kennel trained and can use the doggie-door. He loves to follow the pack outside, run, and sometimes likes to sit in the grass and watch the birds. Kenny does favor women and may take longer to warm up to any men in the home. He is good on a leash, but is easily startled when loud vehicles pass, therefore, will require a very secure harness. He doesn't really enjoy car rides but finds comfort with other dogs in the vehicle. He likes to chase his foster's cat but is harmless as he hasn't tried to bite her at all...seems to just like the chase. Kenny gets very sad when his human leaves but, when you come home, he will greet you with the cutest happy dance ever! Kenny can be very protective and will bark when strangers come to 'his home'. Isn't that what dogs are suppose to do? :P He doesn't chew or dig. Kenny is a really cool dog that would do best in a calm environment and would make the most wonderful companion! He will bring happiness and joy into your world each and every day! Kenny recently had 'cherry- eye' corrective surgery and is now all healed up! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $280 and includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance.
