About Luna

Luna is a 2 1/2 yr old dog, we believe she is a black mouthed cur breed. She was adopted from a shelter as a young (~8 week old pup).Apparently she had been found wandering alone on the nearby reservation. She has been in a loving home ever since. Unfortunately, circumstances have changed and we can no longer keep Luna. We had a baby and have moved into an apartment with no yard. Luna has been great with the baby, now toddler! Luna has taken basic dog training class the first year, but has had very little opportunity for walks, hikes, and continued training since then. Because of this she can get a little excited at first when you take her out. Although she does have some dogs who are friends, she needs to be reassured around other dogs. She will bark at them if she's nervous. Luna has always been an 'only dog' so we think she'd love a home where she can be the center of attention. Luna is smart, loving, protective and wants to please. She deserves more than what we can give her right now. We are hoping to find her a home with someone who is loving, active, consistent and willing and able to spend time with her.
