CONTACT [email protected]. or call 310 798 2624. Booko (aka Bowie) is a darling 5 1/2 - 6 year old solid 71 lb neutered boy. Whoever adopts this boy will be a very lucky family. He is pure love. He has a calm demeanor. Nothing seems to phase him. The vet office where Booko was being housed absolutely loved him. They even wrote a Thank you stating ' Booko was a pleasure to work with. He is truly a very well behaved friendly guy. He is happy all the time . He just needs lots of love and TLC. Thank you for letting us care for Booko '. Booko loves to roll over for belly rubs. He likes to play with squeaky toys ( he will tear the toy apart trying to get to the squeaky.) He does need some leash work since he very strong. He is low key and calm but can be playful. We believe he is housebroken but he may mark if you are not taking him out on time. He does not react to other dogs. He does stare but we believe it is because before his etropian eye surgery he was not seeing well. He listens well and is respectful. When he was at the shelter, he played in the play yard with the other Big dogs. When he got tired he would lay in the shade and chill. Due to his calm demeanor, we believe he would be fine with children 8 and up. (he might be too strong for very young children and he can be a little clumsey, which makes him more endearing) Booko is totally vetted. He has had etropian surgery to both eyes, full dental, benign mass removed, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
