About Peter

Poor, poor Peter. The cold hard, heartless streets of Korea is a sad lonely place for a tiny little man like himself. He was riddled with skin problems & his little ears were cracked so severely & bleeding from neglect. It did appear at one stage he did have a humane family & siblings but once his skin condition was to much he was thrown away on the streets of Korea to fend for himself. Thank goodness a good samaritan took Petey to the shelter where the amazing Korean rescue got this sweet baby doll out & shaved him down & treated his little ears & skin infection & asked us could we change this little mans destiny. Peter along with 3 other little loves were bought back to the USA where they are now US citizen & are so happy to be here & can't wait to find their new loving forever home. This little chap is shy at first but very quickly comes out of his shell & his sweetness & curiosity jumps right out at you. Once Peter knows you she becomes so playful with you & the other dogs so this is why it's very important she go to a forever home with playful dogs as he is still a puppy. Peter is so gentle & loving & needs a home who will teach him & grow with him. He does get very excited to be with you & will snuggle with you & enjoys being picked up & given love as you can see from the pictures. Did we mention he loves to eat, well of course he does, that's something she is not used to doing so he loves his food. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Peter so we have been excited to change his world with the introduction of toys & a warm bed, everything is new to Peter. Peter is still a puppy & loves to play with other dogs so a very playful dog would be perfect for him so it's mandatory for him in his new home to have dog friends in the home for him to play with. We are still working on putting weight on Peter & he is still growing as when we got him he was so very thin. Peter rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good car ride, he also is working on walks learning to walk on a harness & leash. Peter has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs so he must go to a forever home with other dogs present in the home as he truly loves other dogs & loves to play with them. Peter is is roughly 15.2 lbs, 4.5 months old, perhaps a Jindo, male & still needs to put on weight which we are working on, he is neutered by laser by our wonderful vets, microchipped, up to date on his shots, heart worm negative & dewormed. Poor little Peter had 2 dew claws removed also which are healing nicely. Peter has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children & it's always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We do not know who his parents were & it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Peter potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Peter & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Peter who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little fellow. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Peter has an adoption fee of $775 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
