About BokDong

Yet again another horror story for another sweet little soul, his true story of cruelty we will never know what happened to him, only he will. Bokdong was dropped off at a kill shelter in Korea by someone saying saying they had found him & he was hurt & just expected the shelter to fix him. It does not work that way in Korea & especially a dog with a broken leg which Bokdong had along with wounds on his head from some type of abuse. The truly dedicated Korea rescue went in & rescued Bokdong from losing his life & got him the surgery on his broken leg & asked could we help this sweet little man & find him a loving forever home as he deserves.Bokdong along with 3 other little loves were bought back to the USA where they are now US citizen & are so happy to be here & can't wait to find their new loving forever home. Bokdong has already been to hell & back with the severe cruelty that this poor boy has endured with a broken leg & wound to his head yet he is still so lovely & wants to be loved. Bokdong's leg has healed nicely, it is still a little stiff but he can run & play like any other little soul. Once Bokdong knows you he becomes so playful with you & the other dogs so this is why it's very important she go to a forever home with playful dogs as he is still a puppy. Bokdong is so gentle & loving & needs a home who will teach him & grow with him. He does get very excited to be with you & will snuggle with you & enjoys being picked up & given love as you can see from the pictures. Did we mention he loves to eat, well of course he does, that's something she is not used to doing so he loves his food. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Bokdong so we have been excited to change his world with the introduction of toys & a warm bed, everything is new to Bokdong. Bokdong is still a puppy & loves to play with other dogs so a very playful dog would be perfect for him so it's mandatory for him in his new home to have dog friends in the home for him to play with. We are still working on putting weight on Bokdong & he is still growing as when we got him he was so very thin. Bokdong rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good car ride, he also is working on walks learning to walk on a harness & leash. Bokdong has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs so he must go to a forever home with other dogs present in the home as he truly loves other dogs & loves to play with them. Bokdong is is roughly 13.6 lbs, 6 months old, perhaps a Korean Jindo, male & still needs to put on weight which we are working on, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his shots, heart worm negative & dewormed. Bokdong has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children & it's always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We do not know who his parents were & it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking if BokDong is potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Bokdong & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Bokdong who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little fellow. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Bokdong has an adoption fee of $775 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
