Duke has been Red Alerted and the 48 hours is up. There isn't much time left and we hope for a miracle. Duke's owner surrendered him to the shelter due to landlord issues. Duke is a special boy who is looking for a special someone who understands him. He's like a crunchy taco, hard on the outside but soft on the inside. Volunteers handle Duke every weekend and he's willing to open up and let himself vulnerable and seek affection. And we hope that he will have that chance to find that special someone.
