About Skipper (Skip)

he first thing you see when you look at Skipper is he is missing one of his front legs. He doesn't care, and we don't even think he realizes it! Dogs are so resilient and they never feel bad for themselves. This handsome dude was hit by a car, and unfortunately the leg couldn't be saved. He is about 6 mths old and weighs about 30 or so pounds and will be a medium to large dog as an adult. He is super smart, very food motivated, learning is going to be loads of fun for him. He's an outgoing dog who loves people, does well with other dogs, and is an affection dog. He is being crate trained now and doing really well. He loves to play his toys, running and fetching them. If you are interested in giving this handsome dude his forever home, let us know! As part of your adoption contract, you will be required to transport the puppy to complete his/her shots, as well as for their spay/neuter at a later date. While puppies are adorable and cute, they are a lot of work. They take time, dedication, and above all, commitment. They will require training (we give you 4 training sessions with us). The rescue strives to give you a puppy that has a good foundation for you to build upon. We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. We are never sure about breed because we do not do DNA (we make our best guess), so if that is important to you, these puppies may not be the right choice for you. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a puppy. As part of your adoption package, each dog/puppy will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You may need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative. You will receive a free bag of premium dog food.
